Please always be mindful when burning your candle! As beautiful as they are, candles can be a serious fire hazard if not handled correctly. Candle Care Instructions:
Follow the burn label: Always follow the instructions on the burn label located on the bottom of your candle.Safety first: Keep your candle within sight at all times and out of reach of children and pets. Never move or touch a burning candle, as the jar will be very hot. Blow out the candle before moving it and allow time for it to cool.
Avoid lighting when sleepy: If you are feeling sleepy or preparing to rest, avoid lighting your candle, as you may fall asleep and leave it unattended.
Keep away from flammable items: Always burn your candle away from anything that could catch fire, such as curtains, towels, plants, clothing, etc.
Trim the wick: Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4" to ensure an even burn. Trimming the wick helps to prevent excessive flickering and soot buildup.
Limit burn time: Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Burning for too long can lead to carbon buildup, wick mushrooming, and an enlarged flame.
End of life: Stop burning your candle when there is about 1 inch of wax left. If the wick moves off-center near the end of its life, it can get too close to the jar, causing excessive heat that could damage or break the jar.
Keep the flame clean: Make sure the flame is free of debris, as any particles can fuel the flame and create an uneven burn.
Avoid extreme temperatures: Try to keep your candle away from extreme heat or cold, as it can affect its appearance (e.g., sweating or frosting).
